PD's Random Comments

Although there are basic principals of Biblical prophecy that are very clear, some of it is still speculative. Events will help interpret some of it and provide deeper revelation, but it's the Holy Spirit who will show us things to come.

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. (John 16:13)

Sometimes it's just comic relief to hear about some of the stuff people come up with to "explain" Bible prophecy. It's OK not to know if it's not yet revealed, right? When it's time, the Holy Spirit will reveal it. Look, the highly respected Prophet Daniel hid some things:

But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase." (Daniel 12:4)

John was also told to keep some big parts secret: When the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Keep secret what the seven thunders said, and do not write it down.” (Revelation 10:4)

It's OK not to know all of Biblical prophecy, but it's not OK to blow it off--you need to know enough of it to share with others so that they can have a chance to make that eternal decision.
