Unauthorized Jordanian Generator on Temple Mount

A group of about 20 Jews, led by Moshe Feiglin of the Jewish Leadership faction of the Likud, were astonished to see heavy equipment on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem when they went to pray there on Monday. The equipment included two gigantic generators, capable of supplying power to tens of thousands of homes, which were donated by the government of Jordan.

Members of the group asked the Jerusalem muncipality if permits had been granted for the generators and were told that not only were the permits not granted, but the city only found out about it by chance from a police commander in the old city.
