U.N. overlooks pedophilia

Organizations operating at the United Nations have a new group to battle on moral standards – a group that should not have attained its non-government status.

The Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute's (C-FAM) Wendy Wright tells OneNewsNow why her organization is concerned that the Kinsey Institute has been accredited by the United Nations.

"The Kinsey Institute was started by Alfred Kinsey, who claimed that children are sexual from infancy. And his primary source for claiming that was adult men who recorded details of their sexual contact with children for his book, Sexual Behavior in the Human Male," Wright reports. "These were criminals -- some of them actually in jail, others who had not been caught."

Further, the men who victimized the children were paid for their role in the research.

A director for the Institute years later admitted that what they were doing was illegal, but nothing was done about it.

So, C-FAM sees plenty of reason for why the Kinsey Institute should not have received U.N. recognition.

"There's one disqualifying characteristic for the U.N. when it comes to accrediting non-governmental organizations, and that is if they are linked to promoting pedophilia," Wright reports. "And the United States requires the U.N. and U.N. agencies to do a thorough review to ensure that none of their agencies have accredited any organization that promotes or condones pedophilia."

Wright says it was disappointing to watch as U.N. delegates voted to allow the Kinsey Institute admission. OneNews
