The truth is out there (Stock)

They’re both beings who (allegedly) live in the sky above us and possess untold amounts of almightiness and power.

Yet, according to a new survey, more Brits believe in aliens than they do in God.

A study carried out among 1,500 adults and 500 children aged 8-12 revealed that more than half of adults believe in aliens, but only a quarter showed the same belief in God.

The poll also showed that adults are more likely to believe in ghosts than possess a belief in the almighty father.

From the children polled, nearly two thirds believe that aliens and ghosts existed, whilst half were confident of the existence of UFO’s.

It was also amusingly revealed that a quarter of the youngsters polled believe that aliens are disguised as humans, whilst one in twenty think that they know an alien. UCN
