Seattle Anti-Israel Bus Ads Nixed

12/28/2010 05:48

From Israel National News

Due to "significant security concerns", Seattle's King County Executive Dow Constantine has ordered the Seattle Metro Transit system to reject anti-Israel ads slated to run on the sides of buses in the city.

Advertisements about “Israeli war crimes” slated to be carried by buses in downtown Seattle have been rejected.

The ads, lambasting Israel for war crimes during the anti-terror Operation Cast Lead campaign in late 2008 and early 2009, featured a group of children, a demolished building, and the headline "Israeli War Crimes: Your tax dollars at work."

All noncommercial advertising on buses in Seattle has been suspended
