From Israel National News

Data released last week by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority shows that the attempted reintroduction of animals previously extinct in the region is a success.

At a conference to present its findings, it was reported that rare species such as the ox, fallow deer, eagles, onagers and oryx which have been diligently raised and returned to the wilds of Israel over 20 years are now beginning to flourish in the country.

 The project is ongoing.
