The number of anti-Semitic incidents in France doubled in 2014 compared to 2013, even with a 130 percent increase in acts of physical violence against Jews, the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (CRIF) said Tuesday.

According to CRIF, 851 anti-Semitic incidents were recorded in 2014, versus 423 in 2013, and anti-Semitic acts represent 51 percent of racist incidents in France, while the Jews are only less than 1 percent of the population of France. YNet
