Movie Shows Rapture Caused by Extraterrestrials

It's difficult right now to find much about the soon to be released movie Skyline, except one place states, "Strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth." even with that, one can't help but notice the similarity to the Biblical catching away or rapture. Some prophecy teachers have said that one way the "missing people" even will be explained is through the idea of extraterrestrial involvement. There is a growing fascination with aliens and extraterrestrials; the United Nations has recently named an earth representative for any first contact events. 2 Thessalonians 2:11 says, "So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies." Is it only ironic, or is it planned that the movie says, "don't look up," when Jesus said, "So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!” Special thanks to Joe @the10virgin.
