A Los Angeles area man produced child pornography with a 3-month-old infant and sent the images to an undercover officer in England, California officials say.

Robert Dale Schrader, 33, of Littlerock, has been arrested and charged with two federal counts of producing child pornography, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.

The infant boy depicted in the photos was found in a search of Schrader's home Monday and was removed, officials said.

The child was "one of the youngest, if not the youngest" known victims of child pornography in the Los Angeles area, said Claude Arnold, special agent in charge for Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations in Los Angeles.

An ICE statement said the investigation was triggered Jan. 29 after British law enforcement found someone had emailed "multiple sexually explicit images of an infant to an undercover officer in England," KTLA-TV in Los Angeles reported.

Data embedded in the images revealed they had been taken in the vicinity of Schrader's home, the statement said.

Schrader could be sentenced to between 15 and 60 years in prison if convicted on both charges. UPI
