From Israel National News: Professor Ron Naaman of the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot along with other scientists has developed a new technique for filtering electrons in DNA. According to Physics World, Naaman uses the charge and spin of electrons to look at strands of DNA.  The team published a report in the journal Science, entitled "Spin Selectivity in Electron Transmission Through Self-Assembled Monolayers of Double-Stranded DNA."
