Deception: The Religion-Free Bible Project
Numerous approaches to neutralizing the Word of God are developing now to deceive people from the truth. The latest is the Religion Free Bible Project. which purports to deliver a religion-sanitized approach to living that has it's sole basis on love and peace without the committment to Christ, repentence, or holy living.
Here's what their website says:
The Religion-Free Bible Project exists to liberate humankind with the original message of the Bible that all of humankind is accepted, and free to create a world of love, beauty, peace, and goodness. The goal of the RFB Project is to make the Religion-Free Bible accessible to all people worldwide, and for 51% of our world population to have a copy of the RFB in some form.
What we mean by “Religion-Free” Bible is a Bible written without this mentality imposed upon it. What if this process is something we created, and called it “religion”? What if this process, rather than connecting us with God and the divine, instead hinders it? What if we are seeking to attain what we already have? What if we are striving to become what we already are? What if we are trying to cross a divide or remedy a separation that isn’t there? What if we are trying to measure up when we already do? What if we are dividing up the world in categories such as “sacred and secular,” and “us and them,” which aren’t real? What if the whole idea that we have to get somewhere, achieve something, change something, improve something, add something, subtract something in order to have a relationship with God and the divine… isn’t true?
The greatest need of all people has always been and continues to be to know there is nothing wrong with us, that we are loved and accepted by God without condition. This was the meaning of Jesus’ life. This is the highest truth that defies, fulfills and transcends all religion, and this is the truth that sets people free.
We hope the impact of The Religion-Free Bible Project in people’s lives will include:
- knowing your Self as whole, perfect and complete
- honoring the divine in all people accepting every human being as your sister or brother
- being an expression of love, grace, peace and goodness in the world
- seeing God in all things
- building a world that works for everyone
- creating something beautiful that doesn’t exist now
- living your purpose as showing up and fully present in the now
- leaving no stone unturned in discovering, creating and being all you are
The goal of the RFB Project is to make the Religion-Free Bible accessible to all people worldwide, and for 51% of our world population to have a copy of the RFB in some form.
That, my friend, is new-age humanism perfectly defined. The plan of Satan to deceive many along a wide path to destruction. This is the vehicle to geth them there.
This "project" has re-written the Bible to sanitize the doctrine of fallen man who needs to be born again through the propituary sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ. Here's an excerpt:
“Love gives. Love is what brought me into this world. I am a gift, offered in love. Love desires your freedom. Love desires your wholeness. Love wants you to know yourself as complete. Love wants you to be at peace. My life was an invitation to this freedom, wholeness, peace and love. But my invitation is a choice. You have also been fed a lie about yourself that will ultimately destroy you. The lie says you are bad and worthless, irreparably flawed, defective and unacceptable, and undeserving of love and acceptance, even from God. I’m here to say that’s not true, and I’m asking you to believe me. Even when everything in your head or everything n your life seems to be evidence of the lie, I’m asking that you believe me instead. I’m going to be gone soon, and I need you to get this because I need your life to be that invitation as mine was. You are as much a gift to the world as I am, and I want you to accept and own that for yourself. Love never stopped giving. Love keeps birthing new expressions of the truth to awaken those lost in the lie. First, you have to wake up yourself and then your life naturally becomes the smelling salts this world needs.”

Here's the true Word of God:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18 NKJV
Because of the fall of Adam, man is inherently sinful and in need of a Savior who died as our substitute for the sin nature. In order to be redeemed from that evil nature, we must accept Christ as Lord and Savior and turn our hearts, minds, and souls from evil to follow Him. This is the born-again experience. The Spirit of God enters, regenerates us giving us the experience of the new birth to become a new creature—something that has never been. Then, we are made righteous and have that right-standing before God, free from condemnation.
The true lie in what the “project” purveys is the fact that we don’t need a savior. It leads directly to the belief that we are not evil or sinful and need a change in nature. It’s deception is that we are inherently good and by practicing love we become better human beings on our own with our own efforts.
That is humanism. The deceptive lie of the enemy, Satan.
Here's another one from the Religion Free Bible:
“The truth is that you are perfect and complete as you are. You were created this way – it’s who you’ve always been and always will be. In every moment you meet every condition for being worthy of love and acceptance by simply being you. I know it’s difficult to get this in a world that is continually sending you the message there is something wrong, deflective, flawed or inadequate about who you are. It’s a story you carry about yourself that you think is real and so you play the part every day. We will never shed these stories that separate us from ourselves until we start relating to each other in the reality of who we really are. Start with yourself! The great opportunity of your life is to grow up and become who you really are in this world. There’s nothing preventing that but you.” - Titus 2:11-12, RFB
Here's the truth from the Bible, look at the difference, look at all that was added in the so called RFB, and look at the deceptive direction it takes:
"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, " Titus 2:11-12 NKJV
In several places, the Word of God warns us not to change the meaning...
- For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:18-19
- You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:2
- “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it. Deuteronomy 12:32
- My son, keep my words, and treasure my commands within you. Provers 7:1
- Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. John 14:23
This false and deceptive bible is a sign of the last days:
- For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 2 Timothy 4:3-4
- And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. Matthew24:4
- Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. Matthew 24:11
The Religion Free Bible is perfect for those who don't want nor need salvation, or those who mark their own path to follow, for those who find their worth and value in only themselves, and for those who who have self-actualized into a god unto themselves.
