Convicted killer cannibalizes woman after stabbing her to death

A CONVICTED killer who was out on parole allegedly ate part of a woman’s brain, heart, and lungs after stabbing her to death, it has emerged.

Police in the American state of Indiana have revealed horrific details of how Joseph Oberhansley allegedly ate part of Tammy Jo Blanton’s brain in the killing last week.

Police said they were first called to Ms Blanton’s home in Jeffersonville at 3am last Thursday after she reported that Oberhansley was outside her home and trying to get in.

The Clark County Prosecutor’s Office said officers attended the home and sent Oberhansley home but were called back at 10am and discovered him inside.

After restraining him, they searched the home and found Ms Blanton’s body in a bathtub with part of her skull removed, Wave News reported.

According to the arrest report “he further admitted to cooking a section of her brain and eating it” as well as part of her heart and lungs.

It also emerged Oberhansley was free on a parole after killing his 17-year-old girlfriend who had given birth just days earlier and shooting her mother near Salt Lake City in 1998, WBIW reported. NewsCom
