Assurance 11 for a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church

Jesus said the last days will be like the days of Noah.

When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all. Luke 17:26-27

• Genesis 7:7 makes it very clear that they entered the boat to escape the flood—to escape the judgment.
• Genesis 7:10 says they were on board for seven days before the waters of the floods came.

The seven days is a type of the seven-year tribulation with the final gathering for war against Christ happening immediately after. The main concept to gain is that they were safely in the Ark during those seven days. Noah is a type of the church which escaped the judgment by entering the arc thus escaping the judgment of the flood.

The church will not have to go through the tribulation; the church will be caught away before the tribulation.
