African peacekeepers nab CAR's Muslim-eating cannibal

BANGUI - The African peacekeeping forces, MISCA, have arrested a Central African Christian man who recently shocked the world by posing for pictures – in two separate incidents – while eating the body parts of dead Muslims.

"We arrested a man in his twenties who appeared in a video for eating human flesh," Otsaga Bengone, the Commander of the MISCA police force, told Anadolu Agency on Monday.

He could not divulge further details regarding the arrest, but instructed junior officers to lead AA to a place where the culprit was being held.

Ouandja Magloire, locally known as "Mad Dog," was brought from his cell half naked with handcuffs.

He looked emancipated and shocked.

Magloire refused to speak to the media.

The BBC has broadcast grisly footage of the man last month eating the leg of a Muslim man who had been lynched and burnt by a Christian mob in Bangui.

He was later photographed eating from another dead Muslim body.  TP
