Abortion law requires mother to view baby's image and listen to heartbeat

Missouri's SB 793 expands the state's existing 24-hour consent policy. The current law requires a woman who is having an abortion to receive information regarding the physical and psychological risks of abortions. The new law mandates the woman receive the information in person and be required to view an ultrasound image and listen to the heartbeat of the unborn baby.
